Wednesday Night Prayer

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Followed by our midweek service 7:00PM - 8:00PM

Each Wednesday we gather together for a special time of corporate prayer, worship and intercession. Together we seek God, come boldly before his throne and graciously stand in the gap for others.

Acts 2:42, NLT: All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord's Supper), and to prayer.

We have created this prayer time to be intentional in a relaxed environment so you can focus on your conversations with God.
Feel free to bring your kids, so they can learn how to pray and worship.

"these I will bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples."

Isaiah 56:7 ESV

"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord."

James 5:14

"...praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication."

Ephesians 6:18

"But you, my delightfully loved friends, constantly and progressively build yourselves up on the foundation of your most holy faith by praying every moment in the Spirit."

Jude (Judah) 1:20 TPT

What to Expect

You can expect that we will press into a certain prayer topics or points each week, such as children, marriage, students, healing, our local community, our leaders, schools, transformation in Cleveland and the surrounding areas, our house.

This is a space for you to come and rest at the feet of Jesus. Whatever season of life you are walking through, our prayer service is where you will get a chance to re-focus your heart and mind on Christ.

Practically what this looks like is an unscripted time that we give God, you will see a few people that have been asked to lead some of our prayer points come up to the front and pray out, you are welcome to pray along, continue worshiping, agree in the spirit with what is being prayed and of course you are welcome to seek God and pray as you desire.

There will be a time where pastors and elders will open up the time for personal prayer if you need or want someone to agree with you in prayer or if you would like prayer for healing there is a space for that as well.

You will also see and hear people praying in tongues or in their prayer language, at Liberty Church we believe this is a gift given by the Holy Spirit to strengthen us and empower our inner man in prayer and to connect with Him. If you are unsure of this gift or have never experienced it before or would like to have a better understanding on it please reach out to a member of our pastoral team.

Will there be Childcare?

Because this is a family event, the children's classrooms will be closed until our midweek service time at 7:00pm.
We ask that children come in and stay with their parents during our prayer service.

You are welcome to bring quiet activities for our littlest members. We are aware that an hour can be a long time, we do want to create and foster a space for our children to witness and participate in the things God is doing in our house.

We velieve the word is clear in training up our children in the ways of the Lord, this is one practical way they can begin to feel a part of the bigger picture and learn by watching and being encouraged by the adults and teens around them.
